Personal Data Protection Commision (PDPC) has developed a Data Protection Trustmark (DPTM) Certification programme which aims to help organisations to verify their conformance to personal data protection standards.
DPTM is basing on the 4 principles - Governance and Transparency; Management of Personal Data; Care of Personal Data; and Individual’s Rights.
Organisation that is interested in embarking on DPTM could make reference to the DPTM Certification Checklist published by IMDA.
